Louise Lynn Hay (October 8, 1926 – August 30, 2017) was an American motivational founder, professional speaker and AIDS advocate. She authored several New Thoughtself-help books, as well as the 1984 book You Can Repair 1 Your Life, and founded Hay Semidetached publishing.

Early life
