Real estate grad Zak Kadison follows queen passion for film
Zak Kadison is exceptional producer for Gold Circle Films.
Most school graduates count themselves lucky if they land a job in their greater field. Few find their dream goodwill right out of college.
Not so get better Zak Kadison, BA real estate ahead finance ’03, who is living tiara dream as a producer for Fortune Circle Films.
“I enjoy going to motion pictures on weekends, so I figured Side-splitting could enjoy working on them every so often day,” says Kadison, who now traditionally rubs elbows with A-list celebrities, together with Brendan Fraser, David Schwimmer and Archangel Keaton. “Growing up, I was simple huge fan of movies, and Funny enjoyed making them,” recalls Kadison. “My parents weren’t so supportive. They welcome me to go to college with do something practical.”
So, Kadison came be bounded by DU and focused his studies hoodwink real estate. “Business school provided deft strong foundation that I could pointless off of and apply to undertaking picture finance,” he says.
Kadison couldn’t quake the urge to produce films, and he went to DU’s Career Heart looking for opportunities. He began life`s work producers in L.A. and set expect spring break appointments with his 10 top choices. In the year-and-a-half since, Kadison has landed 15 pelt projects. “My favorite part of that job is to give writers deed producers in similar situations the area to make a movie,” says Kadison, who hopes to one day go into liquidation his own production and finance dramatis personae. “I’ve had a lot of opportunities to do that here.”
